How to turn a Babyshower into an Upscale Event

One major key to upscaling an event is by starting with your basics of tables and chair rentals. This is considered the “back-bone” of the floor plan. You need to select a great quality linen, whether solid or design to begin your tablescape design. From there the type of chair to be selected will determine how the look of the tablescape will come together. In this baby shower we recently did, the vision was an elegant neutral theme as the mother to be, was not aware of the sex of her babies ( Yes, twins! ) We designed the floor plan with gold chiavari chairs, topped with an crisp ivory linen and satin sage green dinner napkins. To bring the entire look together, the tables were topped with a unique ivory and greenery floral arrangement to complete the elegant vision the client had.

Then come the fun details!

Your dessert table, favors, games and balloon arch! We kept the elegant color scheme alive with the dessert table, by having white chocolate covered strawberries with a drizzle of sage green coupled with homemade onesie shaped cookies with a small eight inch white cream cake. To add to the tablescape design, we added touches of greenery on the table, with a pipe and drape backdrop with hints of greenery flowing there as well!

With all of these small details, it makes a huge difference in capturing the look of an upscale baby shower!
